Performing Steps

·         Carriage to the performing level

When steel sheets carried to the site and depot, they will be shifted to the different levels of the stores and can be performed in a small space usually with no need to the conveying machinery or only by the use of an elevator. In huge projects with large scale foundation, needful sheets for each store would be shifted to the considered level in package form and by the use of crane.

·         Sheets arrangement

Male and female grips in these sheets could easily get latched to each other by the worker in a way that an appropriate working platform would be made of steel due to access and carriage of equipments to the other parts in the store. It should be mentioned that steel sheets can be used as the downer shuttering of the slab so by omitting the usual shuttering the performance would get accelerated and concreting can be done in several stores or vertical levels simultaneously as well.

·         Shear stud and minimum rebar installation

In the joint of steel sheets on the beam some shear studs would be installed to improve the performance of the beam by growing the operation among concrete composite and steel beams and reduce the using steel beam weight. Since steel sheets in composite roof act as the downer armature of concrete slab, there is no need to install armatures. Therefore in this step only the minimum designing armature would be supplied according to the standards.

·         Concreting and vibration

When mentioned above steps were done, the new concrete would spread on the sheets. It should be mentioned that less thickness of the slab and uniformity of sheet surfaces result in rapid emerge of the air and convenient vibration comparing to concreting of same concrete slabs. At the end, finished surface will become flat and smooth.

·         Protection after Performance

A main factor to produce a desired concrete is protecting the concrete in cold or hot weather. Steel sheets under the slab make it possible that the heat transfer thoroughly even to the all parts of the roof in the cold weather by the use of some heaters so that protects it from freezing. On the other hand these sheets in the hot weather inhibits emerge of the hydration water from the inferior level of the slab. Locating a nonconductor plastic on the slab level prevents hydration water from evaporation.
